We process personal data only as far as necessary to run this website and handle your enquiries. This page explains which data that is, why we need it and what rights you have.

2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, on servers in Germany. We have a data processing agreement with STRATO pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Each time a page is requested, the server records your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This data is used only to keep the website secure and stable, is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies for visitors; the language switch works without a cookie as well. We use no analytics or advertising services. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google or any other provider.
4. Enquiries and forms
When you write to us via a form – an enquiry about a ride, selling a ride, a wanted request or a general message – we process the information you provide: usually your name, e-mail address, where given your phone number and company, your message, details about the ride and any photos you upload. The same applies if you contact us directly by e-mail or phone.
We use this data to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare and carry out a purchase or sale (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general messages the legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your submission is stored on the web server and sent to us by e-mail. On the website it is deleted automatically, including photos, after 24 months. If a business relationship results, we keep the necessary records for as long as the law requires (generally seven years under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).
When brokering a ride, we pass information on to the other party (buyer or seller) only as far as necessary for the transaction and with your knowledge. We never share your data for advertising purposes.
The forms are protected against spam by an invisible check field; no data is sent to third parties for this.
5. Newsletter and “Coming soon” notifications
If you sign up for our newsletter or for a notification about a ride that is coming soon, we store your e-mail address and, where given, your name. Your sign-up only becomes effective once you click the link in our confirmation e-mail (double opt-in). We keep the time of sign-up and confirmation as proof. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after seven days.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 174 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every e-mail or by writing to us; we will then delete your address. E-mails are sent from our own server without an external newsletter service.
6. Videos from YouTube and Vimeo
For some rides we show videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) or Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001, USA). A video is only loaded once you click the play button. Before that, no data is sent to these providers.
When you click, your browser connects to the provider and transmits, among other things, your IP address and the page you are viewing; the provider may set cookies. We embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google and Vimeo rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses for this. For details see the privacy policies of Google and Vimeo.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Simply write to us at mail@monsieursky.com.
If you believe that we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
